والنصب: العلم المنصوب، ويحرك، والغاية، و في القوافي: أن تسلم القافية من الفساد، وهو في الإعراب كالفتح في البناء، اصطلاح نحوي.
And 'an-naṣb': the erected banner, and it is vocalized, and the goal, and in rhymes: that the rhyme is free from corruption, and it is in grammar like 'al-fath' in morphology, a grammatical convention.
