A man had camels, so he sold them and bought sheep so they would not stray, but his sheep strayed, so he said: 'I only bought the sheep to avoid the straying ones,' and this became a proverb.
وهرواة الأعزاب: فرس مشهورة كانت موقوفة على الأعزاب، يغزون عليها ويستفيدون المال ليتزوجوا
And Hurwāt al-A'zāb: a famous mare that was dedicated to the unmarried men, they would raid with it and gain wealth to get married.
