والتحوب: التوجع، وترك الحوب، كالتأثم.
And al-tahawwub: feeling pain, and abandoning sin, like al-ta'aththum.
والمتحوب والمحوب، كمحدث: من يذهب ماله ثم يعود.
And al-mutahawwib and al-mahawwub, like muhdath: one whose wealth is lost then returns.
