A pustule that appears on the body, and one may have measles (ḥuṣiba), so they are measled (maḥṣūb), and they have measles (ḥaṣiba).
والحصب، محركة، والحصبة: الحجارة، واحدتها: حصبة، محركة نادر، والحطب، وما يرمى به في النار حصب، أو لا يكون الحطب حصبا حتى يسجر به.
