الهوة ذاهبة في الأرض بعيدة القعر مثل الدحل غير أن له ألجافا، والجماعة الهو، ورأسها مثل رأس الدحل.
The 'huwwah' is going into the earth, deep-bottomed like a cave ('ad-dahl'), except that it has sides, and its plural is 'al-huww', and its opening is like the opening of a cave.
