And the Arabs say: the most wicked of wolves is the ghada wolf, and it became so because it does not approach people except when it intends to raid, meaning by al-ghaḍā here wine, as mentioned by Tha'lab

وقيل: الغضى هنا هذا الشجر، ويزعمون أنه أخبث الشجر ذئابا

And it was said: al-ghaḍā here refers to this shrub, and they claim it is the most wicked of shrubs for wolves

وذئاب الغضى: بنو كعب بن مالك بن حنظلة، شبهوا بتلك الذئاب لخبثها

And the wolves of al-ghaḍā: the Banu Ka'b ibn Malik ibn Hanzalah, they were likened to those wolves due to their wickedness

وغضيا، معرفة مقصور: مائة من الإبل مثل هنيدة، لا ينصرفان

And ghaḍiyyā, definite and shortened: one hundred camels like hunaydah, indeclinable
