وفي الحديث: قال يوم فتح مكة لا تغزى قريش بعدها أي لا تكفر حتى تغزى على الكفر،
And in the Hadith: He said on the day of the conquest of Mecca, Quraysh will not be raided after this, meaning they will not disbelieve until they are raided upon disbelief,
ومننه الحديث الآخر: لا تغزى هذه بعد اليوم إلى يوم القيامة يعني مكة أي لا تعود دار كفر يغزى عليه،
And from it is the other Hadith: This will not be raided after today until the Day of Resurrection, meaning Mecca, i.e., it will not return to being a land of disbelief to be raided upon,

والمغزية: التي غزا زوجها وبقيت وحدها في البيت.
And the mughziyah: she whose husband went on a raid and she remained alone in the house.
وحديث عمر، رضي الله عنه: لا يزال أحدهم كاسرا وساده عند مغزية.
And the Hadith of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him: One of them will continue to break his pillow at the mughziyah (time of husband's absence on raid).
وغزا فلان بفلان واغتزى اغتزاء إذا اختصه من بين أصحابه.
And so-and-so ghazā with so-and-so and ightazā ightizā'an if he singled him out from among his companions.
والمغزية من الإبل: التي جازت الحق ولم تلد، وحقها الوقت الذي ضربت فيه.
And the mughziyah of camels: that which has passed its due time and has not given birth, and its due time is the period set for it.
والمغزية من النوق التي زادت على السنة شهرا أو نحوه ولم تلد مثل المدراج.
And the mughziyah of she-camels is that which has exceeded the year by a month or so and has not given birth, like the mudrāj.
والمغزي من الإبل: التي عسر لقاحها، وأغزت الناقة من ذلك؛
And the mughzī of camels: that whose conception is difficult, and the she-camel mughzat from that;
والحرب عسراء اللقاح مغز أي عسرة اللقاح؛
And war is difficult in conception, mughz, meaning difficult in conception;
وأتان مغزية: متأخرة النتاج ثم تنتج.
And a mughziyah she-ass: late in producing offspring, then she produces.
والإغزاء والمغزى: نتاج الصيف؛
And al-ighzā' and al-maghzā: summer offspring;
والإغزاء نتاج سوء حواره ضعيف أبدا.
And al-ighzā' is offspring of evil, its young is always weak.
والمغزية من الغنم التي يتأخر ولادها بعد الغنم شهرا أو شهرين لأنها حملت بأخرة؛
And the mughziyah of sheep is that whose birth is delayed after the flock by a month or two because it conceived late;

And he made al-ighzā' (late birth) in donkeys: four-year-old, narrow-bellied, stout, swift, ... with its jaws striking the late-birthing, stumbling ones
