My love for 'Alī is not in vain... the family has departed and he has settled, leaving him under the covering stones and the earth.
جئتك على فرس ذي عدواء، غير مجرى إذا لم يكن ذا طمأنينة وسهولة
I came to you on a horse with uneven gait, not smooth if it lacks steadiness and ease.
