Al-Azhari said: I read in the rare sayings of the Arabs about al-iṭrirā' and al-iẓrirā' the bloating, and it is being bloated and having one's stomach distended.
أبو زيد اظرورى الرجل غلب الدسم على قلبه فانتفخ جوفه فمات
Abu Zayd said: The man became bloated, richness overcame his heart, so his insides swelled and he died.
ورواه الشيباني: اطرورى، والشيباني ثقة، وأبو زيد أوثق منه.
And Al-Shaybani narrated it as: iṭrūrā, and Al-Shaybani is trustworthy, and Abu Zayd is more trustworthy than him.
ابن الأنباري: ظرى بطنه يظري إذا لم يتمالك لينا.
Ibn Al-Anbari said: His stomach became soft, it is becoming soft, if he cannot control its softness.
ويقال: أصاب المال الظرى فأهزله، وهو جمود الماء لشدة البرد.
And it is said: The wealth was affected by stagnation, and it made it lean, which is the freezing of water due to the intensity of the cold.
ابن الأعرابي: الظاري العاض.
Ibn Al-Arabi said: Al-ẓārī is the biter.
وظرى يظري إذا جرى.
And he ran, he is running, if he moved quickly.
