والأصل في نهنه نههه، بثلاث هاءات، وإنما أبدلوا من الهاء الوسطى نونا للفرق بين فعلل وفعل، وزادوا النون من بين الحروف لأن في الكلمة نونا.
The origin of nahnhah is nahhahah, with three ha's. They only substituted a noon for the middle ha' to distinguish between fa'lal and fa'al, and they added the noon from among the letters because there is a noon in the word.
وثوب نهنه: رقيق النسج.
And a nahnhah garment: thinly woven.
الأحمر: النهنه واللهله الثوب الرقيق النسج.
