وشبه عليه: خلط عليه الأمر حتى اشتبه بغيره.

وجمع الشبهة شبه، وهو اسم من الاشتباه.
And the plural of al-shubhah is shabah, and it is a noun from al-ishtibah.
روي عن عمر، رضي الله عنه، أنه قال: اللين يشبه عليه.
It is narrated from Umar, may God be pleased with him, that he said: The wet nurse is resembled by the child.
فإن اللبن يشبه.
For the milk resembles.
والشبه والشبه: النحاس يصبغ فيصفر.
And al-shabah and al-shibh: copper that is dyed to become yellow.
سمي به لأنه إذا فعل ذلك به أشبه الذهب بلونه.
It was named so because when it was treated thus, it resembled gold in its color.
كوز شبه وشبه بمعنى.
A jug of shabah and shibh with the same meaning.
الشبه شجرة كثيرة الشوك تشبه السمرة وليست بها.
Al-shabah is a tree with many thorns that resembles the samrah, but is not it.

And al-shibah: a seed the color of fenugreek, drunk for medicine.
والشبهان: نبت يشبه الثمام، ويقال له الشهبان.
And al-shubhan: a plant that resembles al-thumam, and it is also called al-shahban.
وقيل الشبهان هو الثمام من الرياحين.
And it was said that al-shubhan is al-thumam from the fragrant plants.
