وادرهي عليها إنما معناه: اهجمي عليها وأقدمي.
And 'attack upon her' only means: attack upon her and advance.
ودرهت عن القوم: دفعت عنهم مثل درأت، وهو مبدل منه
And 'he defended from the people' means he repelled from them, like 'dar'a', and it is a substitution from it.
رجل مدره حرب، ومدره القوم هو الدافع عنهم.
A man of war, and the defender of the people is the one who repels from them.
والمدره: المقدم في اللسان واليد عند الخصومة والقتال، وقيل: هو رأس القوم والدافع عنهم.
And the leader is the foremost in speech and action in dispute and combat, and it is said: he is the chief of the people and their defender.
إذ أقبل شيخ من بني عامر هو مدره قومه
When a sheikh from Banu 'Amir approached, he was the leader of his people.
والمدره: زعيم القوم وخطيبهم والمتكلم عنهم والذي يرجعون إلى رأيه، والميم زائدة، والجمع المداره
And the leader is the chief of the people, their orator, the one who speaks for them, and to whose opinion they refer, and the 'mim' is extra, and the plural is 'madarah'.
والمدره لسان القوم والمتكلم عنهم

Then the angel came to him with a knife 'darharhah'.
الدرهرهة المرأة القاهرة لبعلها.
The 'darharhah' is the woman who overpowers her husband.
ويقال للكوكبة الوقادة بنورها تطلع من الأفق دارئة درهرهة.
And the bright constellation shining with its light that appears from the horizon is called 'dari'ah darharhah'.
