And the jorahiya: the large sheep, and it was said: the jorahiya of camels and sheep are their best, their largest, and their most prominent.
وقال ثعلب: قال الغنوي في كلامه فعمد إلى عدة من جراهية إبله فباعها بدقال من الغنم؛
And Tha'lab said: Al-Ghanawi said in his speech, 'So he intended several of the jorahiya of his camels and sold them for diqal of sheep;'
دقال الغنم: قماؤها وصغارها أجساما.
Diqal of sheep: their young ones and their small ones in body.
والجره: الشر الشديد.
And al-jarh: the severe evil.
والرجه: التثبت بالأسنان والتزعزع.
And ar-rajh: the holding fast with teeth and the wavering.
