Al-Azhari: Abu Zayd said that the Arabs say to a man they threaten, 'I will extend your hardship,' meaning 'I will prolong your trouble,' and it is also said 'ghuḍnak'.
أريت إن سقنا سياقا حسنا، ... نمد من آباطهن الغضنا
