Abu Sahl narrated from Al-Tamimi regarding their saying 'Bint Buḥnah' that Al-Buḥnah is a well-known palm tree in Medina, and the woman was named Buḥnah after it, and the plural is Banāt Buḥn.
وبحنة وبحينة اسم امرأتين؛ عن أبي حنيفة.
And Buḥnah and Buḥaynah are the names of two women; according to Abu Hanifa.
والبحون: رمل متراكب؛ قال: من رمل ترنى ذي الركام البحون
