وفي حديث أبي بكر، رضي الله عنه: أنه لقي طلحة فقال: ما لي أراك واجما؟ أي مهتما.
And in the hadith of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him: he met Talhah and said: Why do I see you silent (and worried)? Meaning, preoccupied.
والواجم: الذي أسكته الهم وعلته الكآبة، وقيل: الوجوم الحزن.
And the wajim: one whom worry silenced and melancholy overcame; and it was said: Al-wujum is grief.
ويقال: لم أجم عنه أي لم أسكت عنه فزعا.
And it is said: I did not ajim from it, meaning I did not remain silent from it out of fear.
والواجم والوجم: العبوس المطرق من شدة الحزن، وقد وجم يجم وجما ووجوما وأجم على البدل؛ حكاها سيبويه.
And the wajim and al-wujm: the frowning, silent one from intense grief; and he wajama, yajimu, wajman and wujuman, and ajama as a substitute; Sibawayh narrated this.

Ibn Al-A'rabi: Al-wujm is a small mountain like an 'iram'.

Ibn Shumayl: Al-wujm are stones piled one upon another on the tops of hills and mounds, and they are thicker and taller in the sky than the 'urum'. He said: And their stones are large like the stones of Al-Sirah and Al-Amrah; if a thousand men gathered on a stone, they could not move it. They are also from the work of 'Ad. The base of the wajm is round and its top is pointed, and the plural is al-wujum; Ru'bah said: And a skull like a solid rock among the rocks... or the 'Adite wajm among the stones.
الجوهري: والوجم، بالتحريك، واحد الأوجام، وهي علامات وأبنية يهتدى بها في الصحارى.
Al-Jawhari: And al-wujm, when vocalized with harakah, is one of Al-Aujam, which are landmarks and structures by which one is guided in the deserts.
ابن الأعرابي: بيت وجم ووجم، والأوجام: البيوت وهي العظام منها؛ قال رؤبة: لو كان من دون ركام المرتكم، ... وأرمل الدهنا وصمان الوجم
Ibn Al-A'rabi: A house is wajm and wajm, and Al-Aujam: the houses, and they are the large ones among them; Ru'bah said: If it were from behind the accumulated heaps, ... and the sands of Al-Dahna and the Summan of Al-Wajm.
قال: والوجم الصمان نفسه، ويجمع أوجاما؛ وقال رؤبة: كأن أوجاما وصخرا صاخرا
He said: And Al-Wajm is Al-Summan itself, and it is pluralized as Aujam; and Ru'bah said: As if landmarks and hard rock.
ويوم وجيم أي شديد الحر، وهو بالحاء أيضا، ويقال: يكون ذلك وجمة أي مسبة.
And a day wajim means intensely hot, and it is also with haa'. And it is said: that can be a wajmah, meaning an insult.
والوجمة مثل الوجبة: وهي الأكلة الواحدة.
And al-wajmah is like al-wajbah: meaning a single meal.
