ويقال: كَزَمَ الشيءَ الصلبَ كَزْمًا إذا عضَّه عضًّا شديدًا.

والكَزْمُ: غِلَظُ الجَحْفَلَةِ وقِصَرُها.

وقيل: الكزم البخل.

And it is said: al-kazm is stinginess.

يقال: هو أَكْزَمُ البنان أي قصيرها، كما يقال جَعْدُ الكف.

It is said: he is akzam al-banan, meaning short-fingered, just as one says ja'd al-kaff (curly-handed).

والكزوم من الإبل: الهرمة من النوق التي لم يبق في فيها ناب، وقيل: ولا سن من الهرم، نعت لها خاصة دون البعير.
