Al-Azhari said: Al-ʿadhām is a shrub of saltwort that bends, and its bending is the cracking of its leaves when you touch it, and it has leaves like the leaves of the qāqul.
والعذم: نبت؛ قال القطامي: في عثعث ينبت الحوذان والعذما
And al-ʿadhm: a plant; Al-Qaṭāmī said: In ʿuthʿuth grows al-ḥūdhān and al-ʿadhma.
