وجاء به العجاج متعديا؛ فقال: ورب هذا الأثر المقسم، ... من عهد إبراهيم لما يطسم
And the dust storm brought it transitively; he said: By the Lord of this consecrated trace... from the time of Abraham when it had not yet become obliterated.
يعني بالأثر المقسم مقام إبراهيم، عليه السلام؛ وقوله: ما أنا بالغادي وأكبر همه ... جماميس أرض، فوقهن طسوم
He means by the consecrated trace the Station of Abraham, peace be upon him; and his saying: I am not going forth in the morning, and his greatest concern is... buffaloes of the land, over them is an obliterating (land).
فسره أبو حنيفة فقال: الطسوم هنا الطامسة أي فوقهن أرض طامسة تحوج إلى التفتيش والتوسم.
Abu Hanifa explained it, saying: Al-Tusum here means Al-Tamisah (obliterating), meaning over them is an obliterating land that requires searching and discerning.
وطسم الرجل: اتخم، قيسية.
And Tasm the man: he was overfull (indigestible), a Qaysi dialectal usage.

Indeed, the Imam after him is his mother's son, ... then his son, the crown prince of his uncle, the people have accepted him, so name him, ... oh would that it had come out of his mouth until the kingdom returns to its core, ... he showed us his right hand from his sleeve.
والطواسيم والطواسين: سور في القرآن جمعت على غير قياس؛ وأنشد أبو عبيدة: حلفت بالسبع اللواتي طولت، ... وبمئين بعدها قد أمئيت، وبمثان ثنيت وكررت، ... وبالطواسيم التي قد ثلثت
