يَعْنِي الْفِرَقَ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَكُونُونَ طَوَائِفَ فَتَجْتَمِعُ كُلُّ فِرْقَةٍ عَلَى حِيَالِهَا تُقَاتِلُ أُخْرَى

Meaning factions of people who will be groups, and each faction will gather by itself to fight another.

وَالصَّلَامَةُ: الْقَوْمُ الْمُسْتَوُونَ فِي السِّنِّ وَالشَّجَاعَةِ وَالسَّخَاءِ

And al-ṣalāmah: people equal in age, courage, and generosity.

الصَّلَامُ الَّذِي فِي دَاخِلِ نَوَاةِ النَّبْقَةِ يُؤْكَلُ
