And in the hadith of Aisha describing Omar, may God be pleased with them: 'tar'amuhu wa ya'baaha', meaning the world, i.e., she is affectionate towards him as a mother is affectionate towards her child and a she-camel towards her calf, sniffing it and licking it.
وكل من أحب شيئا وألفه فقد رئمه
And whoever loves something and becomes familiar with it, has 'ra'imahu'.
ورئم الجرح رأما ورئمانا حسنا: التأم، وفي المحكم: انضم فوه للبرء؛ وأرأمه إرآما: داواه وعالجه حتى رئم، وفي الصحاح: حتى يبرأ أو يلتئم
And the wound 'ra'imat' well, meaning it healed, and in Al-Muhkam: its opening closed for healing; and 'ar'amahu ir'aman': he treated it and cared for it until it healed, and in Al-Sihah: until it is cured or healed.
وأرأم الرجل على الشيء: أكرهه
And 'ar'ama al-rajul 'ala al-shay': he forced the man to do the thing.
ورأم الحبل يرأمه وأرأمه: فتله فتلا شديدا
And he 'ra'ama' the rope, meaning he twisted it very tightly.
والرومة، بغير همز: الغراء الذي يلصق به ريش السهم، وحكاها ثعلب مهموزة
And 'al-rumah', without hamza: the glue to which the feather of an arrow is attached, and Tha'lab narrated it with hamza.

And 'al-ri'm': the pure white of gazelles, and it is said: it is the young of a gazelle, the plural is 'ar'aam', and they changed it to say 'aaraam', and the female is 'ri'mah'.

Among the gazelles are the 'aaraam', which are pure white.
والرؤوم من الغنم: التي تلحس ثياب من مر بها
And 'al-ru'oom' among sheep: is the one that licks the clothes of those who pass by it.
ورأم القدح يرأمه رأما ولأمه: أصلحه كرأبه
And he 'ra'ama' the vessel, meaning he mended it, like 'ra'abahu'.
رأمت شعب القدح إذا أصلحته
You 'ra'amtu' the crack of the vessel if you mended it.
والرئم: الاست؛ عن كراع، حكاها بالألف واللام، ولا نظير لها إلا الدئل وهي دويبة؛ قال رؤبة: ذل وأقعت بالحضيض رئمه
And 'al-ri'm': the anus; according to Kura', he narrated it with 'al-' and 'laam', and it has no parallel except 'al-di'l', which is a small creature; Ru'bah said: he was humbled and fell to the ground with his anus.
ورئام: موضع. وقيل: هي مدينة من مدائن حمير يحلها أولاد أود، قال الأفوه الأودي: إنا بنو أود الذي بلوائه ... منعت رئام، وقد غزاها الأجدع
And 'Ri'aam': a place. And it is said: it is a city of the cities of Himyar inhabited by the children of Awd, Al-Afwah Al-Awdi said: We are the children of Awd whose ordeal... prevented Ri'aam, and Al-Ajda' attacked it.
