Then he said: 'Indeed, the wretched one rides the barajim,' and ordered him killed and thrown into the fire, and his right hand was burned.
إن الشقي وافد البراجم
Indeed, the wretched one is the envoy of al-Barajim.
الراجبة البقعة الملساء بين البراجم.
Al-rajibah is the smooth spot between the knuckles.
والبراجم المشنجات في مفاصل الأصابع، وفي موضع آخر في ظهور الأصابع، والرواجب ما بينها
And al-barajim are the prominent joints in the finger joints, and in another place, on the backs of the fingers, and al-rawajib are what is between them.
