They only put a kasra in 'yiyjel' so that one 'ya' strengthens the other.
والأمر منه إيجل، صارت الواو ياء لكسرة ما قبلها
And the imperative from it is 'ijil', the 'waw' became a 'ya' due to the preceding kasra.
إنما كسرت الياء من ييجل ليكون قلب الواو ياء بوجه صحيح
The 'ya' in 'yiyjel' was only put with a kasra so that the change of 'waw' to 'ya' is valid.

Indeed, I am fearful.
