وبعد إشارتهم بالسياط ... هوجاء ليلتها هوجل
And after their urging with whips ... a swift she-camel in her night's journey.
والهوجل: الدليل الحاذق.
And 'al-hawjal': the skilled guide.
والهوجل: البطيء المتواني الثقيل الوخم، وقيل: هو الأحمق.
And 'al-hawjal': the slow, hesitant, heavy, and sluggish one; and it is said: he is the foolish one.
في صلب لدن ومشي هوجل
In a strong, flexible spine and a slow gait.
