وطَهِلَ، بالكسر: فسد وتغيرت رائحته.

وفي الأرض طَهْلَةٌ من كلإٍ أي شيءٌ يسيرٌ منه وليس بالكثير، وذلك في أول نباتِها، وقد أُطْهِلَتِ الأرضُ.
And in the land is a طهلة of vegetation, meaning a small amount of it, not much, and that is in the beginning of its growth, and the land has produced sparse vegetation.
والطَّهْلَةُ: القليلُ الضعيفُ من الكلإِ؛ حكاه أبو حنيفة.

والطَّهْلِئَةُ: الماءُ الرَّنْقُ الكَدِرُ في الحوض؛

وقال الليث: الطَّهْلِئَةُ الطينُ في الحوض وهو ما انحتَّ فيه من الحوض بعد ما لِيطَ، تقول: أخرج هذه الطَّهْلِئَةَ من حوضِكَ.
And Al-Layth said: The طهلئة is the mud in the basin, which is what erodes into it from the basin after it was plastered, you say: Remove this mud from your basin.
وطُهَيْلُ الرجلِ إذا أكلَ الطَّهْلَةَ، وهي بُقَيْلَةٌ ناعمةٌ.
And a man's طهيل is when he eats the طهلة, which is a soft little plant.
والطَّهْلِئَةُ: القطعةُ من الغيمِ على وجهِ السماءِ مأخوذةٌ من طَهَلَ الماءُ إذا تغيرَ وعلاهُ الطُّحْلُبُ.
And the طهلئة is a patch of cloud on the face of the sky, derived from طهل water when it changes and algae covers it.
وما في السماءِ طَهْلِئَةٌ أي سحابةٌ؛
And there is no طهلئة in the sky, meaning a cloud;
وفي الصحاح: أي شيءٌ من غيمٍ، وهو فَعْلِئَةٌ، وهمزتُهُ زائدةٌ كهمزةِ الكَرْفِئَةِ والغَرْقَئِ.
And in Al-Sihah: Any amount of cloud, and it is on the pattern of فعلئة, and its hamza is extra like the hamza of كرفئة and غرقئ.
والطَّهْلِيَّةُ من الناسِ: الأحمقُ الذي لا خيرَ فيهِ، كلاهما غيرُ مهموزٍ، وهو المَدْفَعُ، قال: ويقالُ للراشِنِ.
And the طهلية from people: the fool who has no good in him, both are un-hemzahed, and it is the دفع, he said: and it is said for the rashin.
ابنُ الأعرابيِّ: يُقالُ بقيتْ من أموالِهم طَهْلَةٌ أي بقيةٌ،
Ibn Al-A'rabi said: It is said a طهلة remained of their wealth, meaning a remainder,
وقال: هاهنا طَهْلَةُ الماءِ ونَضَاضَتُهُ وبَرَاضَتُهُ بقيةٌ منهُ.
And he said: Here is the طهلة of the water, and its نضاضة and its براضة, a remainder of it.
والتَّهَطَّلَأَتْ وتَطَهَّلَأَتْ أي وقعتْ.
And تهطلأت and تطهلأت mean fell.
