ورجل شغل؛ عن ابن الأعرابي، قال: وعندي أنه على النسب لأنه لا فعل له يجيء عليه فعل، وكذلك رجل مشتغل ومشتغل؛ الأخيرة على لفظ المفعول، وهي نادرة؛ حكاها ابن الأعرابي؛ وأنشد
And a busy man; according to Ibn al-A'rabi, he said: And in my opinion, it is a relative adjective because there is no verb from which 'fa'al' comes, and likewise a busy man and a busy man; the latter is in the form of the passive participle, and it is rare; Ibn al-A'rabi narrated it; and he recited:
إن الذي يأمل الدنيا لمتله، وكل ذي أمل عنه سيشتغل
Indeed, he who hopes for the world is like one who is weary, and every hopeful person will be distracted from it.
واشتغل فلان بأمره، فهو مشتغل
