As for Al-Layth's saying 'calibrating dinars,' Abu Ubayd narrated from Al-Kisa'i, Al-Asma'i, and Abu Zayd that they all said 'I calibrated the measures' and 'I repeated them,' and they did not permit 'I calibrated them.'
وقالوا التعيير بهذا المعنى لحن
And they said, 'Al-ta'yir' in this meaning is an error.
