And the Arabs say for one who sells all kinds of food items, 'baddal'; Abu al-Haytham said this, and the common people say 'baqqal'.

The day the earth will be changed for another earth and the heavens.

Those are the ones whom Allah will change their bad deeds into good deeds.

أبي خون، فقيل: لا لا ... ليس أباك، فاتبع البدالا

والأبدال: قوم من الصالحين بهم يقيم الله الأرض، أربعون في الشام وثلاثون في سائر البلاد، لا يموت منهم أحد إلا قام مكانه آخر، فلذلك سموا أبدالا

And al-abdaal: a people of the righteous by whom God sustains the earth, forty in Syria and thirty in other lands; when one of them dies, another takes his place, and that is why they are called abdaal.

البأدلة اللحمة في باطن الفخذ

Al-ba'dalah is the flesh in the inner thigh.

البأدلتان بطون الفخذين، والربلتان لحم باطن الفخذ، والحاذان لحم ظاهرهما حيث يقع شعر الذنب، والجاعرتان رأسا الفخذين حيث يوسم الحمار بحلقة، والرعثاوان والثندوتان يسمين البآدل، والثندوتان لحمتان فوق الثديين

The two ba'dalatan are the insides of the thighs, and the rablatan are the flesh of the inner thigh, and the haadhan are the flesh of their outer side where the tail hair falls, and the jaa'iratan are the tops of the thighs where the donkey is branded with a ring, and the ra'thawaan and the thanduwatan are called al-baa'dil, and the thanduwatan are two fleshy parts above the breasts.
