والتفليك أن يجعل الراعي من الهلب مثل فلكة المغزل ثم يثقب لسان الفصيل فيجعله فيه لئلا يرضع أمه.
And the tafleek is for the shepherd to make from hair something like a spindle whorl, then pierce the tongue of the young camel and place it in it so it does not nurse its mother.
وهو قضيب يدارعلى لسانه لئلا يرضع؛ قال الأزهري: والصواب في التفليك ما قال أبو عمرو.
And it is a rod that is placed around its tongue so it does not nurse; Al-Azhari said: And the correct thing in tafleek is what Abu Amr said.
والثدي الفوالك: دون النواهد.
And the fawalik breasts: less than the budding ones.
وفلك ثديها وفلك وأفلك: وهو دون النهود؛ الأخيرة عن ثعلب.

ورجل فلك: جافي المفاصل، وهو أيضا العظيم الأليتين؛ قال رؤبة: ولا شظ فدم ولا عبد فلك، ... يربض في الروث كبرذون رمك
And a falk man: stiff-jointed, and also large-buttocked; Ru'bah said: Neither a weak-boned nor a falk slave, ... squatting in dung like a dull-colored mule.
الفلك العبد الذي له ألية على خلقة الفلكة، وأليات الزنج مدورة.
The falk is the slave who has a buttock shaped like a falkah, and the buttocks of the Zanj are round.
والإفليكان: لحمتان تكتنفان اللهاة.

الأفلك الذي يدور حول الفلك، وهو التل من الرمل حوله فضاء.
