ووفقت أمرك أي وفقت فيه، وأنت تفق أمرك كذلك.

And you succeeded in your matter, meaning you were successful in it, and you understand your matter similarly.

ويقال: وفقت أمرك تفق، بالكسر فيهما، أي صادفته موافقا وهو من التوفيق كما يقال رشدت أمرك.

And it is said: You succeeded in your matter, you understand your matter, with kasra in both, meaning you found it suitable, and it is from divine success, just as you say you were rightly guided in your matter.

He succeeded in his matter, he understood it. Al-Kisa'i said: It is said you were rightly guided in your matter and you found your opinion suitable, and the meaning of 'wifqa amrahu' is finding it suitable.

أوفقت السهم إذا جعلت فوقه في الوتر لترمي، لغة، كأنه قلب أفوقت، ولا يقال أفوقت، واشتق هذا الفعل من موافقة الوتر محز الفوق؛
