Whoever seizes a span of land from his neighbor, it will be yoked to him from seven earths; meaning God will make the earth swallow him, so the usurped spot becomes like a collar on his neck.
والنخل مطوقة بثمرها أي صارت أعذاقها كالأطواق في الأعناق
And the date palms are adorned with their fruit, meaning their clusters have become like collars on necks.
وددت أني طوقت ذلك أي ليته جعل داخلا في طاقتي وقدرتي

He built in the flood a tall, proud structure, where doves cooed in its arches.
