And he said: And it may be from Al-ḥawq, which is the frame surrounding the circular thing around it.
وَالحَوَّاقَةُ: الكَنَّاسَةُ

وَأَرْضٌ مُحَوَّقَةٌ: قَلِيلَةُ النَّبْتِ جِدًّا لِقِلَّةِ المَطَرِ
