That she adorned a maiden and they paraded her around her, saying, 'Perhaps we will catch some of the young men of Quraysh with her,' meaning she beautified her.
واشتاف فلان يشتاف اشتيافا إذا تطاول ونظر.

وتشوفت إلى الشيء أي تطلعت.
