And Ibn Shumayl said: it is the fine one with good chains.

And from his saying about the armor al-zaghf
وقال ابن السكيت في الزغف: الدرع الواسعة الطويلة
And Ibn al-Sikkit said about al-zaghf: the wide and long armor
أظنه من قولهم زغف لنا فلان، وذلك إذا حدث فزاد في الحديث وكذب فيه.
I think it is from their saying 'so-and-so zaghf-ed to us', which is when he narrated and added to the speech and lied in it.
رجل زغاف وقد زغف كلاما كثيرا إذا كان كثير الكلام.
