وساغ له ما فعل أي جاز له ذلك، وأنا سوغته له أي جوزته.
And what he did was permissible for him, meaning it was allowed for him, and I made it permissible for him, meaning I allowed it.
أساغ فلان بفلان أي به تم أمره وبه كان قضاء حاجته

وسوغ الرجل: الذي يولد على أثره، إن لم يك أخاه.

وسوغه: أخوه لأبيه وأمه، وذلك إذا ولد بعده على أثره ليس بينهما ولد.
And his sughah: is his full brother, and that is if he is born after him immediately, with no child between them.
سمعت رجلين من بني تميم قال أحدهما سوغه، وقال الآخر سوغته، معناه يتلوه.
I heard two men from Tamim, one said 'sughah' and the other said 'suwghah', meaning 'following him'.
هو سوغه وسيغه، بالواو والياء.

وقد ساغت به الأرض سوغا مثل ساخت سواء.
And the earth sank with it, sinking, like it sank, equally.
إذا شئت فاركب ثم سغ في الأرض ما وجدت مساغا أي ادخل فيها ما وجدت مدخلا.
