Every garment that is purely white, yellow, or red is 'nāṣiʿ'.

وَالْأَمْرُ: وَضَحَ وَبَانَ
And the matter: it became clear and evident.
شَاهِدُهُ قَوْلُ لَقِيطٍ الإِيَادِي: إِنِّي أَرَى الرَّأْيَ، إِنْ لَمْ أُعْصَ، قَدْ نَصَعَا
Its witness is the saying of Laqīṭ al-Īyādī: I see the opinion, if I am not disobeyed, has become clear.
وَالنَّاصِعُ: الخَالِصُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
And 'an-nāṣiʿ': the pure of everything.
وَشَيْءٌ نَاصِعٌ: خَالِصٌ
And a thing 'nāṣiʿ': pure.
المَدِينَةُ كَالْكِيرِ تَنْفِي خَبَثَهَا وَتَنْصَعُ طِيبَهَا أَيْ تُخَلِّصُهُ
The city is like a bellows, it expels its impurities and purifies its good, meaning it makes it pure.
وَحَقٌّ نَاصِعٌ: وَاضِحٌ، كِلَاهُمَا عَلَى المَثَلِ
And a pure right: evident, both are proverbial.
أَقَرَّ بِهِ، وَاسْتَعْمَلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ قَبِيصَةَ النَّصَاعَةَ فِي الظَّرْفِ، وَأَرَاهُ إِنَّمَا يَعْنِي بِهِ خُلُوصَ الظَّرْفِ
He admitted to it, and Jābir ibn Qabīṣah used 'an-naṣāʿah' for elegance, and it seems to me he meant by it the purity of elegance.
وَقَدْ يَجُوزُ أَنْ يَعْنِيَ بِهِ اللَّوْنَ كَأَنْ تَقُولَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا أَظْهَرَ ظَرْفًا، لِأَنَّ اللَّوْنَ وَاسِطَةٌ فِي ظُهُورِ الأَشْيَاءِ
And it may be permissible to mean color by it, as if you say: I have not seen a man display more elegance, because color is a medium in the appearance of things.
وَقَالُوا: نَاصِعُ الخَبَرِ أَخَاكَ وَكُنْ مِنْهُ عَلَى حَذَرٍ، وَهُوَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ النَّاصِعِ أَيْ البَيِّنِ أَوْ الخَالِصِ
And they said: A clear report from your brother, and be wary of him, and it is from a clear matter, meaning evident or pure.
وَأَنْصَعَ
And he revealed what was in his heart.
حَتَّى اقْشِعَرَّ جِلْدُهُ وَأَنْصَعَا
Until his skin shivered and he revealed his intentions.
وَأَنْصَعَ أَظْهَرَ مَا فِي نَفْسِهِ
And 'anṣaʿa' means to reveal what is in one's self.
وَالنَّاصِعُ مِنَ الجَيْشِ وَالقَوْمِ: الخَالِصُونَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَخْلِطُهُمْ غَيْرُهُمْ؛ عَنِ ابْنِ الأَعْرَابِيِّ؛ وَأَنْشَدَ
And the pure element of the army and people: those who are unmixed and not mingled with others; from Ibn al-Aʿrābī; and he recited.
أَتَوْنِي نَاصِعِينَ إِلَى الصِّيَاحِ
They came to me, pure and unmixed, towards the call.
وَقِيلَ: إِنَّ قَوْلَهُ فِي هَذَا البَيْتِ أَتَوْنِي نَاصِعِينَ أَيْ قَاصِدِينَ، وَهُوَ مُشْتَقٌّ مِنَ الحَقِّ النَّاصِعِ أَيْضًا
And it was said: His saying in this verse 'they came to me pure' means 'intending', and it is also derived from the pure truth.

And an-naṣʿu and an-naṭʿu are for one of the hides, which is made from leather; and he recited for Ḥājiz ibn al-Juʿayd al-Azdi.
كَأَنَّ سُرَاتَهَا نَصْعٌ دَهِينٌ
As if their finest parts were glistening white leather.
وَالنَّصْعُ: ضَرْبٌ مِنْ الثِّيَابِ شَدِيدُ البَيَاضِ
And an-naṣʿu: a type of garment of intense whiteness.
مُجْتَابَ نَصْعٍ يَمَانٍ فَوْقَ نَقْبَتِهِ، ... وَبِالأَكَارِعِ مِنْ دِيبَاجِهِ قِطَعًا

You would think it was white cloth cut out upon it, mingling with the stretching as it donned it.
وَأَنْصَعَ الرَّجُلُ لِلشَّرِّ إِنْصَاعًا: تَصَدَّى لَهُ
And the man prepared himself for evil, he confronted it.
وَالنَّصِيعُ: البَحْرُ
And an-naṣīʿu: the sea.
أَدْلَيْتُ دَلْوِي فِي النَّصِيعِ الزَّاخِرِ

وَأَرَادَ بِالنَّصِيعِ مَاْءَ بِئْرٍ نَاصِعٍ المَاءِ لَيْسَ بِكَدِرٍ لِأَنَّ مَاْءَ البَحْرِ لَا يُدْلَى فِيهِ الدَّلْوُ
And he intended by 'an-naṣīʿ' the water of a well with pure water, not turbid, because one does not lower a bucket into the sea.
يُقَالُ: مَاءٌ نَاصِعٌ وَمَاصِعٌ وَنَصِيعٌ إِذَا كَانَ صَافِيًا
It is said: water is 'nāṣiʿ', 'māṣiʿ', and 'naṣīʿ' if it is clear.
وَشَرِبَ حَتَّى نَصَعَ وَحَتَّى نَقَعَ، وَذَلِكَ إِذَا شَفَى غَلِيلَهُ
And he drank until he was satisfied and until he was quenched, and that is when he quenched his thirst.
وَالمَنَاصِعُ: المَوَاضِعُ الَّتِي يُتَخَلَّى فِيهَا لِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ أَوْ لِحَاجَةٍ، الوَاحِدُ مِنْصَعٌ، لِأَنَّهُ يَبْرُزُ إِلَيْهَا وَيَظْهَرُ
And al-manāṣiʿu: the places where one relieves oneself for urination or defecation or for a need, the singular is 'manṣaʿ', because one goes out to it and appears.
كَانَ مُتَبَرَّزُ النِّسَاءِ فِي المَدِينَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُسَوَّى الكَنَفُ فِي الدُّورِ المَنَاصِعَ
