واللطع، بالتحريك: بياض في باطن الشفة وأكثر ما يعتري ذلك السودان، وفي تهذيب الأزهري: بياض في الشفة من غير تخصيص بباطن.

And laṭʿ, with vowel movement: whiteness on the inside of the lip, and this mostly affects dark-skinned people, and in Tahdhib al-Azharī: whiteness on the lip without specifying the inside.

والألطع: الذي ذهبت أسنانه من أصولها وبقيت أسناخها في الدردر، يكون ذلك في الشاب والكبير، لطع لطعا وهو ألطع.

وقيل: هو أن ترى أصول الأسنان في اللحم.

And it was said: it is to see the roots of the teeth in the flesh.

واللطعاء: اليابسة الفرج، وقيل: هي المهزولة، وقيل: هي الصغيرة الجهاز، وقيل: هي القليلة لحم الفرج، والاسم من كل ذلك اللطع.

And al-laṭʿāʾ: she with a dry vulva, and it was said: she is emaciated, and it was said: she is small-bodied, and it was said: she has little flesh in her vulva, and the noun for all of that is laṭʿ.

لطعته بالعصا، والطع اسمه أثبته، والطعه أي امحه، وكذلك اطلسه.
