والزريعة، بتخفيف الراء، الحب الذي يزرع ولا تقل زريعة، بالتشديد، فإنه خطأ

And 'al-zarīʿah', with a light 'rā', is the seed that is planted; do not say 'zarīʿah' with a doubled 'rā', for that is an error.

والله يزرع الزرع: ينميه حتى يبلغ غايته، على المثل

And God grows the crops: He makes them grow until they reach their limit, as a metaphor.
