The man said: And what do these people know about you? She said: In all of them I have been married. He said: O daughter of a mother, I see you as an elderly woman whose nose-ring has been fitted.
قالت: كلا ولكني جوالة بالرجل عنتريس.
She said: No, but I am one who roams with a strong man.
والجلنفع من الإبل: الغليظ التام الشديد، والأنثى بالهاء؛
And the jilinf' of camels: the thick, complete, strong one, and the female is with 'taa' marbuta'.
أين الشظاظان وأين المربعه؟ ... وأين وسق الناقة الجلنفعه؟
Where are the two shinbones and where is the shoulder blade? ... And where is the load of the robust female camel?
على أن الجلنفعة هنا قد تكون المسنة، وقد قيل: ناقة جلنفع، بغير هاء.

And it was said: the jilinf' is the capacious-waisted, complete one. And it was said: the jilinf' is the large, huge, thick one, whether it is yielding or not.
