Al-Layth said: Al-washiẓ from among people are a mixed group whose origins are not unified, and their plural is al-washā'iẓ.
والوشيظة والوشيظ: الدخلاء في القوم ليسوا من صميمهم
And al-washiẓah and al-washiẓ are outsiders among a people who are not from their core lineage.
على حين أن كانت عقيل وشائظا، ... وكانت كلاب، خامري أم عامر
