فإن الغيظ صفة تغير المخلوق عند احتداده يتحرك لها، والله يتعالى عن ذلك، وإنما هو كناية عن عقوبته للمتسمي بهذا الاسم أي أنه أشد أصحاب هذه الأسماء عقوبة عند الله.

For anger is a quality of change in a creature when it flares up, moving it. And God is exalted above that. It is rather a metaphor for His punishment of the one named this name, meaning he is the most deserving of punishment among those with these names before God.

وقد جاء في بعض روايات مسلم: أغيظ رجل على الله يوم القيامة وأخبثه وأغيظه عليه رجل تسمى بملك الأملاك

And it has come in some narrations of Muslim: 'The most angering man to God on the Day of Resurrection, and the most wicked, and the most angering to Him is a man named 'King of Kings'.
