And whoever reads it with the stressed form, it is in two ways: one is in the sense of abundance, meaning: indeed We have ordained in it many ordinances.
قد فرض الله لكم تحلة أيمانكم
Allah has indeed ordained for you [the dissolution of] your oaths.
وافترضه: كفرضه، والاسم الفريضة.
And 'iftaḍa'hu' means: like 'faraḍahu', and the noun is 'al-farīḍah'.
وفرائض الله: حدوده التي أمر بها ونهى عنها
And the ordinances of Allah are His limits which He has commanded and forbidden.
والفارض والفرضي: الذي يعرف الفرائض
And 'al-fāriḍ' and 'al-farḍī' are those who know the ordinances (of inheritance).

And 'al-farḍ' is the Sunnah; the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ordained, meaning he established.
والفرض: ما أوجبه الله عز وجل، سمي بذلك لأن له معالم وحدودا.
And 'al-farḍ' is what Allah, the Almighty, has obligated, so named because it has landmarks and limits.
وفرض الله علينا كذا وكذا وافترض أي أوجب.
And Allah obligated upon us such and such, and 'iftaḍa' means: obligated.
فمن فرض فيهن الحج
So whoever imposes upon himself therein pilgrimage.
الفارض الهرمة والبكر الشابة.
The 'fāriḍ' is the aged one, and the 'bikr' is the young one.
إنها بقرة لا فارض ولا بكر
Indeed, it is a cow, neither old nor young.

وجعل يفرض للرجل من طيء في ألفين ألفين ويعرض عني أي يقطع ويوجب لكل رجل منهم في العطاء ألفين من المال.
And he began to allot for a man from Tayy two thousand, two thousand, and turned away from me, meaning he cut off and obligated for each man among them in the allowance two thousand of money.

And 'al-farḍ' are soldiers who are allotted stipends, and the plural is 'al-furuḍ'.
