Amghāṣ camels if they are excellent with no singular from their form; the poet said: You gifted a hundred young camels, ... red and white, pure white khubūr (camels).

وأما المغص مثقل العين فهي البيض من الإبل التي قارفت الكرم، الواحدة مغصة.

As for al-maghṣ with a heavy ʿayn, it is the white ones from the camels that have approached the pasture, the singular is maghṣah.

قال ابن الأعرابي: وهي المعص أيضا، بالعين والمأص وكل منهما مذكور في موضعه.

Ibn al-Aʿrābī said: And it is also al-maʿṣ, with ʿayn and al-maʾṣ, and each of them is mentioned in its place.
