هي الكأس والفأس والرأس مهموزات، وهو رابط الجأش.

والكأس مؤنثة، قال الله تعالى: بكأس من معين بيضاء ؛

والكأس: الزجاجة ما دام فيها شراب.

وقال أبو حاتم: الكأس الشراب بعينه وهو قول الأصمعي،
