And a runner that throws off clothes, as if they were ... male gazelles, their mating and their fleeing.

وتَيِّسِي: كَلِمَةٌ تُقَالُ عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ إِبْطَالِ الشَّيْءِ وتَكْذِيبِهِ والتَّكْذِيبِ بِهِ؛
And tayyisi: a word said when intending to nullify a thing, to deny it, and to disbelieve it;
فَقُلْ لَهَا: تَيْسِي جُعَارِ ، فَكَأَنَّهُ قَالَ لَهَا كَذَبْتِ يَا خَارِيَةُ.
So say to her: Tayyisi ju'ar, as if he said to her 'You lie, O Khariyah'.
احْمُقِي وتَيِّسِي للرَّجُلِ إذا تَكَلَّمَ بِحُمْقٍ،
Be foolish and tayyisi to the man if he speaks foolishly,
ومِنْ أمْثَالِهِمْ في الرَّجُلِ الذَّلِيلِ يَتَعَزَّزُ: كانَتْ عَنْزًا فاسْتَتَيَّسَتْ.
And among their proverbs for the abject man who tries to be proud: 'She was a goat, and she became like a male goat'.
واسْتَتَيَّسَتِ العَنْزُ كَمَا يُقَالُ اسْتَنَاقَ الجَمَلُ.
And the goat became like a male goat, just as it is said the camel became like a female camel.
وفِي فُلانٍ تَيْسِيَةٌ، ونَاسٌ يَقُولُونَ: تَيْسُوسِيَّةٌ وكَيْفُوفِيَّةٌ؛
And in so-and-so there is tayysiyah, and some people say: tayysusiyah and kayfufiyah;

واللهِ لأَتَيَّسَنَّهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أي لأُبْطِلَنَّ قَوْلَهُمْ ولأَرُدَّنَّهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ.
By God, I will make them give up that, meaning I will invalidate their saying and turn them away from that.
وَقَتْلَى تِيَاسٍ عَنْ صَلاحٍ تَعَرَّبَ
And the slain of Tiyas, from Salah, became Arabs.
