ونشزت المرأة بزوجها وعلى زوجها تنشز وتنشز نشوزا، وهي ناشز: ارتفعت عليه واستعصت عليه وأبغضته وخرجت عن طاعته وفركته
And a woman rebelled against her husband and upon her husband tanshuzu and tanshuzu nushuzan, and she is nashiz: she rose against him, became defiant, hated him, went out of his obedience, and rejected him.

And those from whom you fear rebellion.
وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا أو إعراضا
And if a wife fears from her husband rebellion or aversion.
والنشوز كراهية كل منهما صاحبه وسوء عشرته له.

أي غلظ ذهب إلى تكبيره وتعظيمه فلذلك جعله أشيب.
Meaning thickness, going towards its magnification and glorification, and for that reason he made it grey-haired.

And he rose with the people in dispute nushuzan: he moved them forward for the dispute.
ونشز بقرنه ينشز به نشوزا: احتمله فصرعه.
And he lifted his horn yanshizu with it nushuzan: he carried it and threw him down.
ويقال للرجل إذا أسن ولم ينقص: إنه لنشز من الرجال، وصتم إذا انتهى سنه وقوته وشبابه.
And it is said of a man when he ages and does not diminish: he is a strong man, and 'satum' if his age, strength, and youth have ended.
والنشز والنشز الغليظ الشديد.
And al-nashz and al-nashz are the thick and strong.
ودابة نشيزة إذا لم يكد يستقر الراكب والسرج على ظهرها.
And a mount is nashizah if the rider and saddle can hardly settle on its back.
ويقال للدابة إذا لم يكد يستقر السرج والراكب على ظهرها: إنها لنشزة.
And it is said of a mount if the saddle and rider can hardly settle on its back: it is indeed nashizah.
