And it is said: So-and-so is a lazaz of an opponent, and I made so-and-so a lazaz for so-and-so, meaning he does not let him disobey or be stubborn, and likewise I made him a dizan for him, meaning a pressure upon him, squeezing him.
ويقال للبعيرين إذا قرنا في قرن واحد قد لزا، وكذلك وظيفا البعير يلزان في القيد إذا ضيق؛ قال جرير:
And it is said of two camels when they are yoked together in one yoke, they have lazza, and likewise the camel's legs lazazan in the tether when it is tightened; Jarir said:
وابن اللبون، إذا ما لز في قرن ... لن يستطع صولة البزل القناعيس
And the son of the she-camel, when he is stuck in a yoke... will not be able to withstand the charge of the castrated, lean camels
والملزز الخلق: المجتمعه.
And mulazzaz al-khalq: the assembled.
ورجل ملزز الخلق أي شديد الخلق منضم بعضه إلى بعض شديد الأسر، وقد لززه الله ولاززته: لاصقته.
And a man mulazzaz al-khalq, meaning strong of build, joined together, tightly bound, and Allah lazzazahu and I lazaztuhu: I stuck to him.
