And beneath it was a treasure for them; he said: It was not gold nor silver, but it was knowledge and scrolls.
أربعة آلاف وما دونها نفقة وما فوقها كنز
Four thousand and below is expenditure, and above that is a treasure.
كل مال لا تؤدى زكاته فهو كنز
Every wealth whose Zakat (obligatory charity) is not paid is a treasure.

والبحرانيون يقولون جاء زمن الكناز، إذا كنزوا التمر في الجلال
And the Bahrainis say the time of 'al-kinaz' has come, when they store dates in the 'jalal'.
