Perhaps a fair one who tightens the bracelet... married a tall, uncouth old man.
وَقَوْسٌ كَزَّةٌ: لَا يَتَبَاعَدُ سَهْمُهَا مِنْ ضِيقِهَا
And a kazzah bow: its arrow does not fly far due to its narrowness
لَا كَزَّةَ السَّهْمِ وَلَا قَلُوعَ
Neither kazzah for the arrow nor far-flying.
مِنَ الْقِسِيِّ الْكَزَّةُ، وَهِيَ الْغَلِيظَةُ الْأَزَّةُ الضَّيِّقَةُ الْفُرَجِ
Among bows is the kazzah, which is the thick, stiff, narrow-mouthed one.
وَالْوَطِيئَةُ أَكَرُّ الْقِسِيِّ.
And the wati'ah (pliable bow) is more (flexible) than the kazzah bows.
وَقَوْسٌ كَزَّةٌ إِذَا كَانَ فِي عُودِهَا يَبَسٌ عَنِ الِانْعِطَافِ
And a kazzah bow if there is stiffness in its wood from not bending.
وَبَكْرَةٌ كَزَّةٌ أَيْ ضَيِّقَةٌ شَدِيدَةُ الصَّرِيرِ.

And Allah afflicted him, so he is makzuz: like Allah made him feverish, so he is mahmum.
وَهُوَ تَقَلُّصٌ يُصِيبُ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ الشَّدِيدِ أَوْ مِنْ خُرُوجِ دَمٍ كَثِيرٍ.
And it is a spasm that afflicts a person from severe cold or from excessive blood loss.
وَالْعَامَّةُ تَقُولُ الْكَزَازُ، وَقَدْ كَزَّ: انْقَبَضَ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ.
And the common people say al-kazaz, and he became kazz: he contracted from the cold.
أَنَّ رَجُلاً اغْتَسَلَ فَكَزَّ فَمَاتَ؛
That a man bathed and became kazz (contracted from cold) and died;
الْكَزَازُ: دَاءٌ يَتَوَلَّدُ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْبَرْدِ، وَقِيلَ: هُوَ نَفَسُ الْبَرْدِ.
Al-kazaz: a disease generated from the intensity of cold, and it was said: it is the breath of cold.
وَاكْلَأَزَّ اِكْلِئْزَازاً: انْقَبَضَ، وَاللَّامُ زَائِدَةٌ.
And ikla'azza ikli'zazan: he contracted, and the 'lam' is extra.
