قال الفراء: الركز الصوت، والركز: صوت الإنسان تسمعه من بعيد نحو ركز الصائد إذا ناجى كلابه
Al-Farra' said: The rakz is sound, and the rakz: is the sound of a human that you hear from afar, like the sound of a hunter when he whispers to his dogs.
وفي حديث ابن عباس في قوله تعالى: فرت من قسورة، قال: هو ركز الناس ، قال: الركز الحس والصوت الخفي
And in the hadith of Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: 'They fled from a lion', he said: 'It is the sound of people', he said: 'The rakz is the sense and the hidden sound.'
والركاز: قطع ذهب وفضة تخرج من الأرض أو المعدن.
And the rikaz: pieces of gold and silver that come out of the earth or a mine.
وفي الحديث: وفي الركاز الخمس.
And in the hadith: And in the rikaz, the fifth (is due).
وأركز المعدن: وجد فيه الركاز؛ عن ابن الأعرابي.
And the mine yielded much: treasure was found in it; from Ibn Al-A'rabi.
فقال أهل العراق: في الركاز المعادن كلها فما استخرج منها من شيء فلمستخرجه أربعة أخماسه ولبيت المال الخمس
So the people of Iraq said: In rikaz are all the mines, and whatever is extracted from them, four-fifths belong to the extractor and one-fifth to the treasury.
وقال أهل الحجاز: إنما الركاز كنوز الجاهلية، وقيل: هو المال المدفون خاصة مما كنزه بنو آدم قبل الإسلام
And the people of Hijaz said: Rikaz is only the treasures of the pre-Islamic era, and it was said: it is specifically buried wealth that Adam's children buried before Islam.
يقال: ركزه يركزه ركزا إذا دفنه
It is said: rakazahu yurakizuhu rakzan if you bury it.
والحديث إنما جاء على رأي أهل الحجاز، وهو الكنز الجاهلي، وإنما كان فيه الخمس لكثرة نفعه وسهولة أخذه.
And the hadith came according to the opinion of the people of Hijaz, which is the pre-Islamic treasure, and the fifth was due on it due to its great benefit and ease of acquisition.
والذي لا أشك فيه أن الركاز دفين الجاهلية
And what I have no doubt about is that rikaz is a pre-Islamic burial.
وروي عن عمرو بن شعيب أن عبدا وجد ركزة على عهد عمر، رضي الله عنه، فأخذها منه عمر
And it was narrated from Amr bin Shu'ayb that a slave found a rakzah during the time of Umar, may God be pleased with him, and Umar took it from him.
والركاز: الاسم، وهي القطع العظام مثل الجلاميد من الذهب والفضة تخرج من المعادن، وهذا يعضد تفسير أهل العراق.
And the rikaz: is the name, and it is the large pieces like boulders of gold and silver that come out of mines, and this supports the interpretation of the people of Iraq.
يقال للرجل إذا أصاب في المعدن البدرة المجتمعة: قد أركز.
It is said to a man if he finds a complete purse in the mine: he has 'arkaza'.
والركيزة والركزة: القطعة من جواهر الأرض المركوزة فيها.
And the rakizah and the rakzah: the piece of earth's jewels fixed within it.
والركز: الرجل العاقل الحليم السخي.
And the rakz: the wise, patient, generous man.
والركزة: النخلة التي تقتلع عن الجذع؛ عن أبي حنيفة.
And the rakzah: the palm tree that is uprooted from the trunk; from Abu Hanifa.
والنخلة التي تنبت في جذع النخلة ثم تحول إلى مكان آخر هي الركزة.
And the palm tree that grows on the trunk of a palm tree and is then moved to another place is the rakzah.
ويقال: ركز الودي والقلع.
And it is said: rakaza the wadi and the qal'.
بأعلام مركوز فعنز فغرب
